The Gentifi Toolkit

An open-source tool that turns a business's products, prices and bookings into everything AI agents need to find, price, book and buy. Built on open standards, so it works with any agent.

Early preview: the CLI is in place and the commands are being built in the open.

With npx

Nothing to install. Runs the latest version straight from GitHub. Needs Node.js 20 or later.

Commands

Four commands, from catalogue to agent-ready.

Each command already prints its plan. They're marked "planned" until they're built; follow progress on GitHub. For the bigger picture, see how it works in detail.

  1. gentifi init

    Planned

    Import a business catalogue and create a gentifi.json project.

What it generates

One catalogue in. Every agent format out.

Everything the toolkit writes follows the published spec for that format, so it works without Gentifi.

Design rules

Built so customers stay in control.

  • The customer always approves. Connecting an agent to a business, and every order, is confirmed by the customer in their own app.
  • Information, not instructions. Generated files say "this business has a connector, here it is". They never tell an agent to install anything.
  • Real data only. Prices, stock and hours come from the business's own catalogue. Nothing is invented.
  • Self-host or not. Lay out files for your own domain, including /.well-known/, or publish to the Gentifi network.

Start small: get a handful of businesses buyable from agents, and prove it.

  1. Connector generator

    Import a catalogue (Shopify, CSV or booking system) and host an MCP server with search, price, availability and order tools.

  2. Checkout handoff

    Send the customer to the business’s existing checkout or booking page.

  3. SKILL.md

    Generated automatically from the same tools.

  4. Shareable link and QR code

    One badge link per business, ready to print.

  5. Simple dashboard

    Agent queries, orders and revenue.
